Let us be part of your child’s story.

Once upon a time

Lisa Brown has many fond memories of her childhood. And those memories stretch so far back that she can actually recall what it felt like looking up out of her crib. She cherishes her childhood memories… playing with her mother on the grass, building forts in the woods, and baking mud pies in the sun. Because Lisa can remember so far back, she’s always been extra mindful of the way she interacts with a child because one never knows what will become a memory. Lisa has made it her life’s work to provide as many children as possible with memories as happy as those that have been lovingly forged in her mind and in her heart. Welcome to Lisa’s Playhouse.

Let us be part of your child’s story.

There’s no better place to send your child.

Why send your child to play with us?

If you take a moment to read our vision and to look at the photos all throughout this website (they’re not stock images!), the reason should be clear. Rosy cheeks and big grins will show you how kids feel about playing at Lisa’s!

Our core values include…

•   Sustainability
•   Living in the moment
•   Joy and laughter
•   Health and wellness
•   Stopping to smell the roses

If your heart says this is the place for your child, it is.

To create a magical place for children that instills the values of days gone by. To simplify, grow food, and be good stewards of the planet. To play in nature and enjoy the simple things in life. Slow down, childhood.
We want children to look back one day and fondly remember the time they spent at Lisa’s as a cherished part of their childhood.

Imagine a forest where children run and play freely in the dappled sunlight beneath the canopy of trees. Where they climb and sing and shout at the tops of their voices. Rolling and jumping in the mud and the water are a part of everyday life. Children learn to care about themselves, others, and the earth they live on. This magical place exists, and the luckiest children in New Brunswick get to spend their days there. Welcome to our backyard.

That every child grows up with memories to cherish and the skills to make a great mud pie.

Play-based Programs

All of our programs are nature-based. Children in our care learn to appreciate nature and to understand their role in protecting her. And, of course, we have lots of fun. Kids often have so much fun with us that they don't want to leave! We know that we're no substitution for home, but we promise to love your child and fill their days with fun activities. Activities that expand the imagination while appealing to individual strengths and talents.

We provide three options in childcare, and they are all so popular, each has a waitlist. If you’re hoping to join us, we recommend you reserve your spot on the waiting list now!
